accdb file changed size

Recently my accdb file in access changed size form  28,00KB to 9,600KB.  I don't believe I changed anything that would change the size of the file.  All the records and  data in the records appear to still be present.  Not sure what would cause this.  thank you.

maybe you have Compact & Repair it?

You are right. I did a compact and repair recently. I did not realize it would make such an impact on file.
