In December we announced that the Yammer conversations web part for SharePoint was in preview for target release customers. Now, we are excited to announce that it is generally available, making it easier than ever to bring a fully interactive Yammer experience into any SharePoint page, news article, or SharePoint site.

The new Yammer conversations web part can integrate conversations from any Yammer group, topic, user, or home feed, and compliments the Yammer Highlights web part already in production

Yammerwebpart_SP_GA.PNGParticipate in Yammer conversations directly in SharePoint.

Just click to add a new web part, select Yammer Conversations and Get Started. Then, you can filter your Group, User, Topic, or Home, and search for your source. Customize the number of conversations to display and select Republish to see and engage with your new Yammer conversations web part.

Good appearance but missing a parameter to set the display scope "Home> Following" (as in Yammer directly / see screenshot) to display only the messages from the groups of which the user is a member. Still need to use the "Embedded Yammer feed" to display only followed groups>messages.

Is there a reason why the very last post is “No Conversation Started”? even when we have more than 4 showing?

Update: looks like it goes away after the 5th post in Yammer

We can create a new post/topic in Yammer from Sharepoint, however if we try to reply to a post form within Sharepoint we are always re-directed to the yammer web site to do so, so we only have 50% of the required functionality - why is this?
