remote app host pool configuration

I am building some remote apps, I have one host pool configured for desktops and apps. I can give rights to users for the apps and rights for the desktop but not both at the same time.  I would like to get a menu with both apps and the desktop session at the same time. I crated another app pool but when I run the Get-RdsStartmenuApp command it says the session host is empty. How can I get apps and the session desktop on the same menu?

Hi @Eric Fehn ,

You are hitting a hard limit of WVD at this time: a user can only be assigned to 1 AppGroup in 1 HostPool at the same time.

If you would like to publish RemoteApps & a RemoteDesktop to a user at the same time, you will need to have 2 HostPools with seperate SessionHosts.

Just a small tip: check your profiling method (Roaming Profile, FSLogix), especially when publishing multiple HostPools to the same user
