In normal scenarios end users do not have privileges to install application. they will get UAC prompt. Is there a way to exempt prompt to install specific application (like Chrome, Sophos VPN Client.)

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the response. your link talks about UAC prompt for network adapter chnage when user connect vpn.

I want user to install sophos VPN client without he getting UAC prompt.

I'd probably ask Sophos if this is possible.

I've never done it myself, usually just use something like GPO to distribute software. You could maybe look at bundling the software with a script that uses elevated privileges.
