Windows stopped releasing CHK builds as most of their utility went away a fair number of years ago. Between the debug prints being replaced by WPP tracing (without the ability to decode most components), the asserts being changed, and the frequent updates to Windows without the equivalent checked version, the checked build has become unusable.
