RSAT installation issue

Copper Contributor

I've downloaded the insider version of RSAT and I'm getting installation issues on windows 10.

"Installer encountered an error: 0x800b0109

A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider".

This install works fine on my laptop.

EDIT: a bit more info - while both the laptop and desktop and version 1709, the desktop is OS Build 16299.334 while the laptop is 16299.309 so the laptop is slightly older yet the install works?!

I'm running into the same issue.  The cert is definitely not right as shown in these screen shots.  The site had this:

  • KNOWN ISSUE: The x86 RSAT package may fail during installation on Windows 10 builds older than 17110, and on builds other than the 171xx series.

The final 1803 release of RSAT is now on the public RSAT download page. Look for the WS_1803 package there, thanks!
