Avira Antivirus Crashes Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17046 for PC

Total disaster with Windows 10 Build 17046 upgrade causing fatal crash with Avira Antivirus: 

BAD_POOL_HEADER

After installing an alternative 3rd party anti-virus upgrade proceeded without fault.

I have this same issue on all my systems. Version 17063 crashes every time I try to install it, regardless of specs.

when does the crash happen?

I personally would really recommend evaluating defender on win 10 + configuring other features. AV is a small protection (but still required) and there are other mitigations which needs to be configured.
