Windows 10 Audio Crashing

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I got in touch with Microsoft Support but they have informed they don't provide support for Insider Program.

My version of windows is 1803.

I logged into this morning and my audio isn't working.

I have tried the trouble shooting but it doesn't fix it. I have done, I have also done the

Using System File Checker in Windows 10

Nothing has been able to fix.

I have re-installed the realtek audio driver and nothing fixes that. Can you please help?

Solution

Microsoft provided you the right answer. Insider releases are not stable and for use at your own risk.

However you could attempt is to reinstall drivers drivers with compatability settings
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15078/windows-make-older-programs-compatible

If this does not help, I suggest to revert windows to a stable release, then your problems will be gone or if not - MS or Realtek support will be there to help.

Thanks I just RESET my windows.
