Microsoft Intune and Sidecar

Brass Contributor

What is the Microsoft Intune feature called "Sidecar"? It's coming with the Windows 10 creators update and supposedly designed to handle complex MSIs? And why is Microsoft internally favoring Intune over System Center Configuration Manager?

Hi Kurt,

We currently don't have public information to share for it and we do plan to publish a blog about it soon, and I will provide a link to the blog once it's published.

There is no favorism between the two products :).  They are sister products and I am personally working on both, one is our cloud offering, the other is primarily on-prem .

@Heidi Cheng : Do we have any article published now??
