Scenario:
Lenovo Yoga 260 laptop, connecting to the Surface via full HDMI and USB (to enable touch control).
When the USB is disconnected the laptop bluescreens (Win 8.1).
Connecting via VGA and USB is fine
DIsconnecting HDMI/USB or USB/HDMI causes the same issue
Q1 - anyone else experienced this with other devices?
Q2 - to the surface engineers hopefully reading this - what could be causing this? Some kind of power blip through the USB?

Hello Mike,
From what you are discribing you have some kind of display driver issue.
Without having a look at the memory dump it will be hard to tell what is exactly going on but i would put my money on updating your display driver and may be the chipset of your laptop.
if you want to look by yourself this link might be helpful : http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Analyze-a-BSOD-Crash-Dump/?ALLSTEPS
