I realize that it is a bit off topic, but does somebody have news regarding Skype for Teams? I know MS is testing it internally, but would love to get some sort of timeline even for a pre-release.
As many others, we are about to use Slack, but would prefer to use Skype for Teams.
I can't speak for Microsoft/don't work for Microsoft, but I hear from various people at Microsoft there is nothing they are disclosing at this time, so I wouldn't expect any public statement from anyone at Microsoft.

They are probably holding off until Ignite to announce anything. Unfortunately, just because it get's announced doesn't mean it'll be rolled out in the near future.
Yes, I suppose so. One can only hope to get a timeline then. If it is more than 6 months away, I am resigned to use Slack for now and potentially switch later.
