These are the OS that will allow you to install and successfully use Skype for Business Server 2015.
Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter OS with all required updates installed. | Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard OS with all required updates installed. | Windows Server 2012 Datacenter OS with all required updates installed. | Windows Server 2012 Standard OS with all required updates installed. |
So whats about Server 2016? Is it suppored or not? Any Timeline?

Not supported today, but this is in process of being tested. Don't have an ETA at this time, as if we uncover bugs we want to get them fixed alongside declaring support for the topology.
Thanks!

Hello Adrian,
On the official suport page there is this statement:
"Windows Server 2016 is not included in this list right now, but we're planning to add it as a supported option after Skype for Business Server Cumulative Update 5 is released. Until then, please don't try to use Windows Server 2016 as an OS for your Skype for Business deployment today, as it's not yet supported, and we don't recommend it. And check back to this page once the cumulative update is released to confirm Windows Server 2016 is added to our supported list at that time. "
so far, the latest release is CU4 HF1 (v6.0.9319.277) Feb2017
