We are pleased to share the release of the updated Skype Operations Framework (SOF). The Cloud Migration release extends SOF and is intended to play a significant role in helping our customers and partners migrate from current On-Premises deployments to Skype for Business online leveraging the SOF lifecycle of Plan, Deliver and Operate.
With this expansion, we’re releasing a set of tools, workshops and methodologies specific to supporting customers with an On-Premises deployment migrate to Skype for Business Online. Assets that make up this offer also cover the hybrid co-existence period between on premises and online versions. Activities and assets that make up this release can be leveraged by organizations of any size. The intention of the SOF Cloud Migration release is to provide resources that Microsoft partners and customers can leverage and incorporate into their own planning, delivering and operating processes.
