Hi All
We have an on-premise Sharepoint 2013 installation and Sharepoint Online. At the moment they are not in a hybrid setup (the sharepoint techs are working on it).
Now I was testing the Next Gen OneDrive sync client and have done the reg hack so the new client has taken over and removed the old OneDrive for business (groove.exe).
Now I can sync Sharepoint Online just fine, but on-prem I can no longer sync. I guess the on-prem 2013 still depends on the old OneDrive for business client. Is there any why to change that the same way as you could in Sharepoint online a generation ago?
NB I am not the sharepoint tech, but they dont know and we do not want to offer the option to our users without having a plan for using only the new OneDrive client.
