Separate Sets of Document Properties, Depending on View and App

All desktop office files have a "title" property. Office online files do not have a "title" property. That alone makes the "title" property almost useless. Even worse, though, is what is required to view a "title" column in SharePoint Online. If one goes into library settings and tries to add from an existing column, there is no "title" column. But if one changes the document library view from the default modern to the classic view, one can then access the list properties, modify the view, and the "title" property can be shown as a column. It's ridiculous that the metadata available depends on whether one is in a modern or classic view, and whether one is using a desktop app or the online app.
