Recovery of Microsoft Groups content past 30 days since deletion

Microsoft Groups document library can be placed on preservation hold so that all deleted content will stay in the preservation hold library until the retention period is over.  It's very well documented here, but there are no any details what will happen to the preservation hold library past 30 days since Microsoft Groups deletion.

1. Will the content be retained for set retention period after a site collection is deleted?

2. Will it be possible to recovery Microsoft Groups past 30 days since deletion, if it's placed on preservation hold?

The SharePoint site itself wont' get deleted if that is the piece you have down for retention. But the rest will. You will have access to it in the new admin portal to add site collection admin's etc. or Powershell.
