I have been making a footer using the Sharepoint Framework's Application Customizer and the Bottom Placeholder element. It was working fine for a while but after a point I ran it and the Application Customizer could no longer find the Placeholder. I tried this with another AC and got the same problem. I created a new site and tried loading it there, same problem. Using
'console.log(this.context.placeholderProvider.tryCreateContent(PlaceholderName.Bottom, {onDispose: this._onDispose }))' I found that the placeholder was missing from my site. Restarting my browser did not resolve the issue, restarting my computer did not resolve the issue, not even changing computers and projects completely resolved the issue. I'm at a complete loss for how they vanished from all of my sites.
