Not able to open Onenote from Browser or App in SharePoint or in ONeDrive

Hello

I am not able to open my OneNote document from SharePoint Online, I am getting following error

This section was originally created in an older version of OneNote.

When I dry to open from using App, getting following error

This section was originally created in an older version of OneNote.

However I am able to open OneNote from local OneNote 2016 client.

Is this normal behaviour or some limitation for OneNote with SharePoint online.

Are we missing any settings somewhere?

It looks it is OneNote App has limitation or might be bug. Can any expert please advise on this or suggest if Microsoft Publish has any official announcement on this.
