How to create a document library Group By Content Type view?

Hi All,

In SharePoint 2013 you could create a document library view that would Group By the Content Types using SharePoint Designer 2013 (SPD 2013).

We are currently using SharePoint Online. As Microsoft loves making my life harder then it really needs to be, there is no SPD 2016 and even if you try to use SPD 2013 you can not change a document library so the view uses Group By Content Types.

Does anyone on this planet know how to change document library view so Group By uses the content type?

Thanks
Courtney

Hi,
Unfortunately modern SPO does not provide a way to group by content type...the only option I see is to switch back to the classic SPO and use SPD 2013 to the same you do in your SP 2013.
