I'm new to Sharepoint so I'm looking for some guidance here about running a custom HTTP call to a webservice when a file is shared.
So the use case is:
1. I select a file to share
2. I choose people to share it with
3. sharepoint needs to call an external web service to say which file was being shared and who it's being shared to.
Step 3 is where I'm not sure of what to do. I have had a look and there seems to be a few options, .I'm not sure if any of these can provide the seamless user experience I am looking for.
It would be good if someone could point me in the right direction.
