Documentation resources to help you with your SharePoint upgrade

Laura Williams

We've recently published some new resources to help you with your upgrade from Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) to Office 365 or SharePoint Server 2016.

If you haven't really started planning your upgrade, and you're not sure where to begin, start with "SharePoint 2007 migration options to consider." This article walks you through the various upgrade methods and how you can select the one that is most appropriate for the needs of your business and your users. It shows you how to pull your answers to certain key decisions into a simple upgrade plan you can follow. After you've developed a plan, you can use the "SharePoint Server End of Life Roadmap" to find links to the step-by-step upgrade procedures and information you'll need at every phase of the process.

If you have feedback on either of these articles, please click the feedback control in the article ("Was this information helpful?") and let us know how we can make them more useful.

Thank you!
