Hello,
I have SSDE 2014SP2. Connecting to it, Jboss load balanced app servers.
Intermittently I have multiple connections submit the almost identical query. The queries are intensive with cause blocking among each other.
Killing off the SPIDs, with in a minute or so new spid are processing the queries. Kill the SPIDs and the same thing happens.
Finally the SQL Server is stopped\started and processing returns to normal.
The event only occurs during business hours when users are running application pages. Much ETL processing, index maintenance, backups at night and no issues.
Any direction to identify what occurring is appreciated.
