Project Online for Geographically Dispersed Users

Does anybody have any suggestions for geographically dispersed users accessing Project Online?  We have some things that we are trying, but wanted to see if anybody in the community had any tips or tricks in improving performance/latency in this type of environment?

Normally the O365 infrastructure is already aimed at providing the best access via the routing behind the public IPs.

If the problem is limited bandwith on certain sites, hosting of the Project client or even the browser on a better performing location using Terminal Server/Citrix environments can help.
