1. Please go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases.
2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com".
3. Restart Outlook 2016.

User gets this repeatedly when trying to use OCM in Outlook 2016. Same user is unable to modify contacts in OWA. Have removed and re-added Add-IN and have cleared cache and databases several times to no avail. Please advise.
I have a new installation and I am getting the same error any progress on the fix.

Hi - I also have this issue with the following Error Message: 2690-1548285215753 "Something Went Wrong, Please Try Again"
I've tried deleting the outlookapp from IE, but this doesn't help and the same issue seems to happen, even after restarting Outlook 2016.
Is there a better solution?

I'm having the same issue. I got a little further with the suggested action of deleting the cache files in IE, however, now the error displayed in Outlook is just a little different.
Translated the error reads: "Something went wrong. Please try again".

Same issue here. Same error in German language.
OCM appears like banana-ware* to me.
*ripens at the customers home

the error exists on my Computer in Outlook even without using IE at all.
Is there some help under development?
