Contact and Company Creation

When I create a new contact or company, then try to add notes or tasks to either, I get a pop-up on the window that says: "We are still working on creating this company/contact. Please try again later.

 

What's happening? Why is the creation not instant when I hist the Save button?

Thanks for posting here.

 

From your description, it may be a temporary issue. Please restart the Outlook to try again.

 

If the issue persists, please clear the IE browser cache to check it:

 1. Please go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases. 

 2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com". 

 3. Then, restart Outlook 2016. 

 

For further help, Could you provide us the detailed reproduce steps to test them on our lab?

Let's just consider contacts for a moment.

Contacts created within Outlook's Contact page work fine in OCM - fully operable.  However, customers created from within OCM cannot be interacted with in terms of notes, meetings...

 

The same is true for Companies - which cannot be created from outside of OCM...at least not to my knowledge.
