Can't sign into onenote

I'm using the chromebook extension One note and when i try to log in it says

Sign in

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.

The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

However, i have only tried to log in once..

Your online chat people can't help me

Have you tried to login in a inprivate session? or incognito as it is called in chrome?

if it works there it may be that you have other conflicting credentials stored in cache.
