Modern Auth with OneDrive NGSC

Does the OneDrive.exe sync client (aka Next Gen Sync Client) support modern authentication?

I can only find reference to the fact that the Groove.exe version supports it, but not the OneDrive.exe version.

I can add an MFA protected account just fine in the NGSC, or do some fancy auth with my AD FS lab. Or you need actual document that references this?

The customer is looking for simpler/suppressed auth with ADFS. Currently when they do the sign-in the page waits until the users presses somewhere.
Some documentation that refers to this would help. :)
