Outlook 365 - availability indicator

Copper Contributor

Dears,

In our (small) business setup we use Office 365 (home edition) in combination with Skype (consumer version). In order to see the availability in Outlook (v1702, build 7870.2031), Skype is set as default IM provider (in register: \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers).

As such we can see the availability indicator next to all contacts in Outlook, but only the status of the user of the PC is depicted, not the status of the other contacts. So, on my PC I see my own status, but not of the other contacts, and my colleagues see their own status, but not mine of others.

I definitely do something wrong, but have no idea what. Anyone any idea? cheers

Unfortunately I'm not sure if you'll get much support or assistance on that one here, as this area is more for the business version of Office 365 where the version used is Skype for Business.
I'd like to help myself but don't use Skype consumer much myself.
Perhaps there is a Skype consumer forum area on the Microsoft Answers site or Skype website itself?
