Online Interactive Guides

Hi,

has anybody set up load tests for SharePoint online? Maybe with visual studio?

Thanks

Re: Online Interactive Guides

What would be the purpose of load testing a globally distributed and scaled service that handles millions of users every hour?

Re: Online Interactive Guides

:-) Curious to know this purpose too

Re: Online Interactive Guides

Testing the responsiveness of your own code/customizations I guess? You know very well how long the "dont do this in SPO" list is :)

Re: Online Interactive Guides

I like to build KPIs for the performace. Like the time to open a standard site

Re: Online Interactive Guides

That's very subjective to a number of conditions. I would suggest looking at Riverbed and other network vendors who provide solutions that can perform synthetic transactions against Office 365 services and will subsequently give you data around opening sites.
