Compliance Search, Actions, Exchange Online.

Hey Team, 

I am reading through this documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/search-for-and-delete-messages-in-your...

Step 2 says that you need to connect to Security and Compliance Center to perform the following actions: 

New-ComplianceSearchAction -SearchName "Search Name Here" -Purge -PurgeType SoftDelete

However that is entirely in accurate as i was able to run and the command successfully completed without connecting to security and compliance center. 

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Some of the SCC cmdlets are indeed exposed in "regular" Exchange Online PowerShell, but it's best to connect to the SCC and use the "full" versions instead.

I see thanks Vasil. So i guess if its presented as an option on the test then i should probably pic k the "Microsoft" answer to the question.

Yeah not sure about the tests - I took the O365 exams back when they were in beta and haven't bothered with them since. I'd imagine some stuff is outdated...
