Looking for Email verbiage for Moving to Groups (for end-users)

Silver Contributor

Figure I'll post here first.  I am looking for a "we are gonna move you to a Group" email for non-technical end-users.

Our "upgrade path" is taking users primarily from an existing SharePoint site to a full-fledged Group including "migrating" their current SharePoint site.  We plan to send it to the teams approx. a week before actually making the change and turning on their new Group, so at that point I would want to inform them (1) the site will move and (2) what they now get as extra benefits of being a Group.

I havent found an example specifically for Groups, has anyone else done anything like that yet, or have links to good verbiage examples?

Hi Brent,

We have some text you might find helpful in this article: Why you should upgrade your distribution lists to groups in Outlook. Scroll down to the "Manage change" section and you'll see it.

Please do let us know if you have any questions or suggestions though!
