I'm working through the O365 usage analytics data and am confused by the Sharepoint site types.
It would seem logical that "Teams" would be any activities triggered through MS Teams. Yet when I look at my personal record in the UserActivity table it shows I have 0 SPO_TeamFileViewedModified which is crazy because I'm in Teams all the time working on files. What is really odd for me is that SPO_GroupFileViewedModified shows 251. I never log into or view anything in Sharepoint, or any other MS product, nor do I receive links from colleagues to files stored there. The only MS product I use is Teams, and as I mentioned I use it quite heavily.
I've read the data model which says:
SPO_GroupFileViewedModified: Number of files with this user interacted on any group site.
SPO_TeamFileViewedModified: Number of files with which this user interacted on any team site.
But that description doesn't jive with the data I'm seeing.
@Juan Carlos González MartínHey Juan Carlos! Yep, I'm aware that there is a connection between MS Teams and MS Sharepoint and that files from Teams live in Sharepoint behind the scenes, but what I'm trying to do is run analytics on MS Teams specifically. If you are suggesting that MS Teams file live in the "Group" analytic type, then what lives in the "Team" type?
