This is the new home of the Microsoft Windows Core Networking team blog!  Congratulations on your (hopefully) redirected or short-linked journey from TechNet.

For simplicity you can always find this blog by navigating to https://aka.ms/MSFTNetworkBlog

As mentioned on our TechNet blog, We'll aim to post updates on Wednesday when we have them.  Please also consider following @Microsoft_SDN on Twitter!

For the Core Networking Team,

Dan, Are you migrating the contents of the old blogs ?

Hi @PrasChet - We migrated all of the previous content to this site.  We were able to preserve the publishing date, so they're all dated before this one.  Please visit again!

Hi Dan, none of the URLs of the old blogs work. I see just 38 articles here.

Microsoft

Hrmmm...That's strange.  I'll check into that. Thanks for letting me know!

Microsoft

@PrasChet - The decision was to only take blogs from 2017 or later.  So we have the last two years of blogs (2017 and 2018).  If there is a specific article you'd like to see, please let me know and i'll see if I can get it published.

Thanks,
Dan

Thank you Dan;

I was trying to use these four articles that i often refer to when configuring VMQ for hyper-v.

Please dm on twitter (dan2_2023) and we can follow-up until we have the needed content.

@Dan Cuomo Hi Dan, the following 4 articles are really really important for our networking guys to troubleshoot VMQ related issues, please kindly check if we can republish them ASAP, thanks a million.

@Dan Cuomo I agree with @Linyang. These blog posts were extremly useful. Please bring them back. It wouldn't be an issue if the stuff were documented somewhere else...but it isn't :( Thanks, Christian

Copper Contributor

@Dan Cuomo for me too, the referenced articles were very usefull. I need them for explaining VMQ in our Microsoft Training !  I ask you to publish this Deep Dive Articles again, because its content isn't to find elsewhere in the same clear manner.

Thanks Hansruedi

@Dan Cuomo Here to ask for the same set of VMQ articles, any chance they will be available on a public link again soon?

@Christian Schindler @Linyang @HansruediBrunner @stevelvd - The VMQ articles are out-of-date.  Much of that information is still applicable however new information/blogs are warranted on the subject.  We're planning to update these soon.

@TurnItOffandOn @Renato Pagan - Is there a specific question you have?  If so, we can get the technology owners to respond or perhaps post a specific/updated blog article.  As mentioned, the content was not migrated due to age of most of the articles.  We're not planning to bring them all back.

Where are the old blogs ?? I can see 39 with no way to search or sort them

Dear Dan

Thanks for updating the VMQ articles as you announced in your Post from 04-07. I hope, they will be coming soon :)

" @Christian Schindler @Linyang @HansruediBrunner @stevelvd - The VMQ articles are out-of-date.  Much of that information is still applicable however new information/blogs are warranted on the subject.  We're planning to update these soon."

The reason:  I've searched through a lot of different blogs fo find information, how to config VMQ, VMMQ, RSS, vRRS and the correspondending CPU and NUMA Node assignement in Hyper-V Networking together with LBFO and SET Teaming. Configuration Info about RDMA is also needed in this context.  - It has plenty of missleading instructions out there !   Therefore, updated articles in "Deep dive style" like the old VMQ blogs from the source of knowledge by Microsoft is very important to have.

Thanks and kind regards

I'm looking for the VMQ Deep Dive or Updated Articles to help me troubleshoot some VMQ, VRSS issues on Windows Server 2019, with Errors on Failed to move RSS queue from x to x.  Any help would be appreciated.
