Hello everyone!

I wanted to enquire whether there is any easy way to restrict users from downloading specific files, for example videos or generally files larger than 50mb, which were uploaded to specific Microsoft Teams groups?

Is this manageable via Teams?

Could it be managed via the Security & Compliance Center?

Or *gasp* is it to be managed on the individual Document Libraries in SharePoint? (If so, can you leverage on Templates?)

I am very much looking forward to your feedback

Don't think this is something you can do through Teams directly...I could think this is a scenario that could be addressed by AIP labels, but I have not tested how they behave in Teams

I read up on Azure Information Protection. It looks clumsy at best to implement. Plus, I need to pay USD 2 per User.

Google Drive offers download restrictions out of the box since 2015.
Is there really nothing similar in Teams/ SharePoint/ OneDrive?
