Using Teams and SharePoint to display a schedule in Excel

Copper Contributor

Greetings Techno-Gurus,

We are thinking about moving from a printed hard copy of our schedule to a electronically displayed version on a monitor.  There are at least 5 managers that interact with the schedule that is created in Excel through Teams as part of a SharePoint file. (Not sure I said that correctly, but we use the 3 aforementioned programs to create our schedule)  What I want to be able to create is a live version of the schedule that will be able to published to a Smart TV or monitor of some type so that when schedule updates are made, the displayed version will update as well and eliminate the need to keep reposting hard copies.  We have no onsite IT support so one of the managers will be the "IT" person in charge of managing this, so simplicity of design is the best route.

Please advise,

Steve

@ProSup2019 Hi Steve, it'll depend to quite a large degree on what your SmartTV is capable of showing. Typically they have a browser and you can send them a web address to show, try sharing the file from SharePoint and creating an anonymous link.
