Teams user not getting notifications (on specific PC)

I have a user whom is unable to receive notifications of any sort. User is on Windows 10, newest version.

migrating from Skype to Teams. All other users have no issues.

 

  • We've checked his notification settings and they are all in the right place.
    • We've also made sure his Focus Assist settings are off
  • We've also tried it on a colleges PC and his notifications work there. 
    • On the original PC we've tried a fresh install as well as a new user.

 

Short of delving into the registry, I'm at a loss as to what is causing the issue.

Hi! So you are saying he doesn’t get any notifications on other devices either or just on pc?

Does any other user receive notifications if using that device!

No notifications at all? What about web client? Just desktop?

Terribly sorry for the delay. I thought I had replied but seemingly not. 

 

all other devices work, but not this particular one. we've tried a new install and even an other windows user, but nothing works so far. My first thought is potentially power settings blocking notifications from an app that is minimized, but everything seems to be in the right place.  

no notifications tested work for Teams on this device. (other then the notice showing when you are trying to start a screen sharing session, which is odd)
