Teams sync issue

Hi,

 

My supervisor invited me to a team and I accepted it. The team can be displayed in Win10 desktop Team apps. But I cannot find it in IOS team apps or Web application.

 

Did you guys have similar issues?

There is no invite mechanism in Teams, so curious how this occurred. The only way it did is external guest invite. You need to switch your Teams to the other Tenant if that's the case to see the Team. It's in upper right corner in Web next to your photo. The same should be on the desktop client, assuming you got invited and your in the guest tenant on your desktop client by clicking that link. Top right corner should have a drop down list where you can see if your in a guest tenant or not.

Not sure mobile supports guest access yet.

have you checked the Office 365 Account? Use your company the security option to limited the access only for managed devices?

I have a slightly different sync issue. We have seen the desktop client not sync with the mobile app. So when you think that there is no activity on the desktop app, but then you check the mobile app and there are all of your missed chat messages or channel activities. Occurring with both PC and Mac, Android and iPhone. Not sure what to do. We already validated MDM settings. 

I'd check your notification settings on your desktop client to make sure they are similar to your mobile settings, they don't use the same settings and you could be seeing inconsistencies there with chat/replies etc. due to that.

Notification settings match in the desktop app and the mobile app. 

Use the web version. If it’s fine there, then it has to be desktop client.

Check version: Should be 1.1.00.8751

Is this just one or a couple users or a bunch of users? Because if it’s multiples I would suggest putting in a ticket with Microsoft.
