Teams meeting via outlook

This meeting is scheduled for Teams. Before the meeting we get Pop-up in outlook and got the option to click "Join online" but this option comes only for the person who is the Host and not for participants; is there a setting to enable this or is on Roadmap

Do the other attendees have the Teams plug-in for Outlook installed?

They are working on it, earlier today similar functionality for OWA appeared on the Roadmap.
