Hello,

since today we are experience some issues with Teams. The client is restarting every few minutes. It starts with the message "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting...". Then "Something went wrong. Please restart the app". It happens to colleagues all over the world.

Is there any current outage? I don't see any service degradation on the Office 365 Admin center for Teams.  Anyone else with this issue?

we have it also in the company.

I've not seen anything reported, there was an outage early december, let's hope that problem is not back.

 

Does all your colleagues connect to Internet/Office365 from the same firewall or proxy? Have you tested with an external connection like via 4G connection.

Is this on all clients?? ( desktop app, web client, mobile )
Haven’t heard anything yet either

I have tried to use my phone as hotspot and had the same issue. But it doesn't seem that all colleagues are affected. Another one in my office, on the same LAN (same Switch), doesn't have the problem. Other colleagues in other remote sites have reported the same issue.

not everyone has this problem, only a few. also on same netwerk and switch. 

 

 

 

I have it on the desktop app and the web client (tested with Edge). The mobile client is either not affected or not showing these error messages.

Can be that there is some problem with a couple of servers that your user account is hosted on.

 

Create a support ticket from the Office 365 Admin portal so that Microsoft gets some attention on this before it gets to big.

Have a user on Twitter with same issue as well so far

Same issues here in the office during a training of Microsoft Teams. Also some users affected and other not.

 

rebooted my computer and it was fine again.
