Teams and external telephony systems

Hi there,

Within my business, we have an existing telephony with Unify that we could like to integrate with the UC functionality of Teams. Teams advertises being able to connect  into external telephony systems, but is Unify inter-operable / approved to do so?

If so, how would I go about connecting it up?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I just came across your article so this response may be a bit late, maybe not.

Microsoft have not yet released their API to allow the Telephony vendors such as Unify, Mitel, Avaya etc. to develop a plug-in that will connect the disparate platforms. This is expected to be released early 2020.

MS obviously want you to use their PBX licence and Direct Calling bundle so they may put blockers in place.
