Teams Meeting Join

New Contributor

We have a single Tenant in USA and participants join meeting from different regions

Is there a way to validate either during meeting or later Users were connected to which Meeting service in which data center/Region

it can be via Power shell/Call Analytics or CQD; Please suggest

The meeting will be hosted in the data center closest to the first user joining the meeting. You can check with Wireshark (or other similar tool) were your client is connected during the meeting, then check the IP address (in any IP database or google it) and you will probably see a location.

After the meeting you can check the  Connectivity_RemoteAddress in the Session debug report in Teams Admin Center. Dashboard > Users > Username > find your meeting > open a user session > Debug. There you will see a subnet where the meeting were hosted.
