I am curious if anyone else is seeing this issue. If so, is there a solution...

 

I have a customer who is complaining that Teams is auto scrolling his chat sessions at the start of checking on a chat and while they are actively chatting. This is an annoyance and right now I only have one person complaining about it.

 

This has been happening for a few months and updating his software did not resolve the issue.

Have not seen this issue personally, but interested in helping to find a solution.

A few questions

- Does this happen on the web app as well as the desktop app?
- It is occurring in the general conversation tab or just in private chat?
- Does it auto-scroll up - or down - or both?
- Does it happen if he logs into Teams on another machine? Is there another machine he can test on?
- Has he completely logged out of Teams, shut down Teams and gone back in?

- Is it a free or paid version of Teams? If paid, what 365 SKU (I.e. Business Premium)?

- No, it does not happen on the web app.

- Occurs in both.

- Scrolls Up

- Just notified it is happening on another machine with another user

- Unknown, we are just checking into seeing if logging out and back in might resolve.

- Enterprise E3

Not a problem - see if logging out/back in does anything and also if the desktop client is on the latest build. I did some research and looks like this could be a bug
