I am having issues with several tabs not loading which I only seem to be able to resolve by uninstalling the Teams Desktop Client (Windows 64bit) (logging out or restarting doesn't help). Everything works fine in the online-version.

 

Currently my OneNote tabs are not loading, I only get a dead grey area. No message of any sort. It is also not possible to add new OneNote tabs. Same goes for several third party tabs - Wrike, Meistertask, etc. Any thoughts?

Hi Johan,

What happens after the reinstall? Does everything work OK once that has been done, or do you get the same problem again later? I've just checked on my client and I'm not seeing the same behaviour. Is your Teams Client fully updated? Checked the standard AV scanner not causing a problem, that sort of thing?

Can you submit the Microsoft Teams logs?

After reinstall everything works for a day or so, then the same behavior reoccurs. After reinstall I've always downloaded the latest version from the official download page, last time on Monday. I am guessing there is some kind of issue with cached expired tokens being wiped on reinstall. I've attached the diagnostics log (changed the file extension to .csv to allow it to be uploaded)

Anyone got a clue? I am trying to get my team at work to use Teams, but it gets increasingly harder since I can't get it working properly myself!

Are you working with different credentials on your pc?

No, not really. I have one issue with my office365 (microsoft) account being registered as both "private" and "work or school account". But I really only use the "work account" (at least I think so). The other is connected to my MSDN subscription (and Azure) which I rarely use these days.

 

I log into my PC using the office365 account (work) so it shouldn't be that either. But I agree it does seem like an account issue. But then again, shouldn't logging out and in again resolve any such problems? I don't understand why it works after a reinstall only!

I would try to identify which messages appear when you see the error.

 

Maybe reproduce the problems a few times and at each time you reproduce the problem generate a new log file.
