Hello,
I have seen two separate experiences when opening SfB as a Teams only user. One, there is the "Your organization is using Teams!" with two buttons - Start Skype for Business (useful for past convos and upcoming SfB meetings), and a Go to Teams button.
The other, I get the same message, but only the Go to Teams button.
I get these experiences on two different machines, both with the latest Click to Run O365 clients, the same tenant, and the same account.
Obviously if I were an org transitioning to Teams, I would want the first scenario, so my users who have migrated to Teams only would have the option of joining SfB meetings through a desktop client when legacy users invite them. Otherwise, you have two user populations who can't easily join each other's meetings.
