Microsoft are currently having problems with Teams! Users are having issues login in! It seems like all clients are affected ( Some may work for someone though)

We're investigating an issue where users are unable to sign in to the Microsoft Teams Desktop client. While we're focused on remediation, users can sign in using the Microsoft Teams web client. Admins can find further details in the admin center under TM152345.

Whilst we focus on remediation, users may be able to sign in using the Microsoft Teams web client. Current status: We're analyzing diagnostic data to isolate the source of the issue. Scope of impact: Impact is specific to a subset of users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Yes! This was their first response! They changed it to "may" later :)

I have a collegue who is still working in Teams from both desktop and web..I can't neither :(

It's now starting to work for several people again :) Hopefully the rest including myself will be up and running soon!!

I have the same issue on both my MAC's (macbook pro and desktop), since this morning.

 

AS there is not yet an option to run Teams from within Safari, do you have another workaround for the time being?

Also, for information, this is what MS wrote when they changed the incident to resolved:

 

Final status:

Further investigation has determined that user requests were inadvertently being routed to a subset of backup infrastructure. We've optimized traffic routing parameters and rerouted requests to alternate infrastructure to remediate impact.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to a subset of users who were served through the affected infrastructure.

Start time: Friday, October 26, 2018, at 6:30 AM UTC End time: Friday, October 26, 2018, at 10:00 AM UTC

Preliminary root cause: User requests were inadvertently being routed to a subset of backup infrastructure.

Next steps: - We're reviewing our monitoring services to look for ways to reduce detection time and more quickly restore service. - We're analyzing performance data and trends on the affected systems to help prevent this problem from happening again. We'll publish a post-incident report within five business days.

So we are having the same issues BUT our users are unable to log into the web version, it’s as if Microsoft have deleted their license or account- any news on why this happening?
