Every time someone in my organization try to open a Dropbox link on an Office file (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), the preview screen will display... a blank page, as attached.
If doing a right click and selecting open in Dropbox, the file will be opened on the default browser and be displayed but from what I read in the Dropbox integration page we should be able to open it directly in Teams like any other Office file uploaded on Sharepoint/Onedrive.
Anyone else have the same behavior ? Is this a known issue ? Any idea what to do ?
To isolate issue, you may try to download file from Dropbox to local machine and then upload file in to Microsoft Teams under any team > file and the try to open same file. If you are able to open file this way that's means there is integration.
@Will_i_amI experience the same behavior when trying to open MS Office files stored in Dropbox. I have authorized MS Teams in Dropbox and verified that I am logged in and authenticated, but MS Office files stored in Dropbox will not open for viewing or editing in MS Teams. Please let me know if anyone has a resolution to this issue.
