No invitation email for meeting for trial users

When scheduling a meeting, I am inviting some internal users who have a Teams Trial licence as well as some Guest Users via their e-mail address.

 

The Guest User gets an email with all necessary information, the internal Trial licence users don't get anything.

 

Also they don't see the meeting at all in Microsoft Teams as they don't have the Schedule/Calendar button. But they can use the search function and find the meeting there if they know the title and join - which makes no sense at all.

 

Any idea if trial users should get a notification?

Do they have a Exchange Mailbox or only the Teams trial license? If they don't have a license for Exchange Online they will not get the invitation sent by e-mail.

 

The calendar used in Teams is also stored in Exchange Online, so that could be the same problem.
