Chat messages appear in a random order, not in the order they are typed. I have to jump back and forth on my phone to read them. They are perfectly ok on the PC app. In this screen shot you can see that a message is said to be at 18:52, but the actual time shown on the phone is 17:32. The message cannot be at 18:52 as that is in the future! It was in fact sent at 16:19. I am in the UK on GMT. My assumption is that the message times are all wrong which is why they are in the wrong order. Why is this? Note: this was not the case when I installed Teams in October 2018. I am not sure exactly when I first noticed it.
The latest version of Teams in the play store for my phone is, from the about screen:
Very interesting! It would be great if I could get messages from the future perhaps they can let me know the lottery numbers :D Teams would be a very valuable app indeed!
As it is working on the Windows PC App, could you also confirm that the order and timings are working as expected in the Web App at https://teams.microsoft.com? If it is ok in the Web App then, similar to OWA with Exchange, it is more likely to be an issue on the actual device or mobile client.
Do you know if any other users have experienced this? Or does this seem to be isolated?
