We're in the midst of deciding to deploy/train Skype for Business for Microsoft Teams. We have a few people that have the Audio Conferencing license to be able to schedule Skype Meetings in Outlook but outside of that, most people are not using S4B. With the news that S4B will be transitioning into Microsoft Teams, it makes sense to choose Teams to deploy and use. After scheduling a Teams meeting, I noticed that anyone that wants to join via the web app, you will be unable to see anyone's video. Instead it's mentioning to download the Teams application for video use. Which after installing, would force the person to create an account just to use it - which we wouldn't want to force any of our clients to do.
Any timeline on when video will be available in the Teams web app?

Video is there in Edge browser today, Chrome is coming, seems to be taking a while.
If people download the Teams app they don't need to sign in to join meetings as a guest, so it kind of is the installable meeting client for an anonymous join to your meetings.

Video chat works in Linux with Google Chrome and user agent switcher set to "Edge 13". Video calls (one:one and conference) work, screensharing does not.

Make it 6 months.
Why is it that Microsoft seems to over-complicate things so much? It's all so straightforward with G Suite.

Support for Firefox would be appreciated as well. With Edge soon using webkit, I figure Chrome support will have to happen regardless.
