We are unable to come back to our desktop and see the text that was sent to us on Teams while on the move ! 

 

Guys having stable sync between all devices is essential or else we are losing important chats while working on our desktops or vice versa !

 

If someone sends any text or any interaction on a team channel and I see it on my mobile, whenever i am on my desktop the text or the interaction does not show :( very disturbing.

 

This is critical in my opinion !

Mmm...very strange, I have teams working no matter the platform with no problems so If I post a message to a channel from my phone I see it on the desktop client or the web one
Even if you were offline on the other devices then you come back online later ? say your laptop is off, and you receive chats on your phone. If you open back your desktop then you won't see the text you received on mobile;

Yes you see both. Your probably having cache issues and doing suspend. Try right clicking teams and choosing quit on task bar. Then relaunching.
Ok thanks but would this happen alot, it shouldn't be a problem. I used to leave my slack always on and never faced this before.
i've only seen it happen one time with one person the 6 months I've used Teams.

After having a great experience on Teams across platforms (mostly Win10 desktop/ios), this has become very flakey and buggy. Very regular situations where messages received on iOS never show up on the desktop and vice versa. What's going on here? BTW, this is the very reason we stopped using Skype for Business in the organization.

Same experience here. I had the message on my tablet, but not on the desktop. I quit and restart and it showed up. I do suspect my laptop a lot. 

 

I am having the same issue.  Quitting the task and restarting teams did not sync the mobile and desktop apps.  This is a huge issue for my team as we use this to communicate over the weekend when I am off and only on mobile and these chat logs need to be accessible. 

 

Sign out and log back in that has been fixing sync issues with leaving teams for me it’ll probabaly fix that as well.

A few people are encountering the same in my organization. Seems that using it on the mobile app causes messages to be missing from desktop app. You have to quit the app from the taskbar and restart... Less than ideal

I just started using Microsoft Teams today.  I started by using the online interface.  I created a room and chatted with a few colleagues.  After that, I installed the Windows app for Teams.  After logging into it, I don't see any of the chats that I sent/received and I don't see the Team that I created.

Are you sure you logged in with the same account and or that you are in the same tenant? There are a lot of variables at play when using Teams desktop client since it always likes to default to your "Work Account" instead of personal account if you were using a free version for that.

Also make sure you don't have a Drop down next to your picture / initials in the top right, if you do, you might want to check there for a different tenant.

Yes, I'm sure that I used the same account.  I verified it multiple times exactly as you described.  However, after logging out, rebooting and logging back in, the program synced correctly.

The logging out and in was my next steps :). Kind of annoying how often that fix has to be used lately.
I important for us to trust the plateform, what next with this issues?

Android platform the same problem. Teams app does not sync and chat freezes at the loading screen

I am having the opposite issue.  Content updated on the desktop version is not reflected on the mobile app. Any ideas? 

Is it reflected in the web client?
Do a log out / in on both clients!
Like adam said, could be desktop has writes to it that didn't push and mobile isn't seeing or the mobile isn't syncing all the way properly. If sign out doesn't work then you can use the clear data in the setting menu on mobile. But I would check the web browser as a tie breaker to see where the issue is. If it matches desktop troubleshoot your phone, if it matches the phone, troubleshoot the desktop client.

Any updates on this one?

 

I cannot trust the product and always concerned that I'm missing something important...
